Poem of the Day - Monday Blues
I sit here on the bus in old shoes
another week of Monday Blues
a weekend come and gone
wind and rain, No sun shone,
what lies in the week ahead
I want to go back to bed
the pillow wouldn’t let me go
how I freed myself, I just don’t know
now the day is done
it’s time to have some fun.
